Designed and constructed in Christchurch New Zealand, the YikeBike is the worlds smallest, lightest electric folding bicycle at about 22lbs. The YikeBike is available for pre-orders and expects to ship in 2010. The bike folds up (in about 15 seconds) and is small enough to fit into a decent sized carrying case. The bike has a 1kW motor which powers the 20-inch front wheel, a carbon fiber body, charges in about a half hour, and will run for about 5 miles with a top speed of 12MPH.
